Fostering Friendly EmployerNearly 40% of foster carers combine fostering with other work, and a supportive employer can help them balance employment with caring for children. Together for Children offers a fostering‑friendly People policy, providing flexible working, paid time off for training, and support for setting up a new child into a home. We also promote Foster Care Fortnight and campaigns such as Foster with North East to raise the profile of fostering and encourage new carers.
