The Big Walnut Local School District seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as Student Services Coordinator beginning in the 2026/2027 school year. This 220-day position includes administrative benefits and requires a thorough knowledge of student services curriculum, instruction, preschool programming, supervision, and community engagement. • Coordinate the special education program for all special needs children in grades PreK through 12.
• Direct the implementation of federal law and Ohio rules for the education of special needs pupils.
• Coordinate activities between the school district and outside agencies.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Review cases pertaining to alternative placement of students and those receiving the Jonathan Peterson or Autism Scholarship.
• Serve as district representative at ETR and IEP meetings.
• Evaluate professional staff within the Student Services Department.

• Master's Degree or higher in Educational Administration.
• Valid State of Ohio special education and administrative licensure.
• Three to five years of related administrative experience preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a special education classroom and/or related services position.
