Air Export Clerk

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Export Clerk to join a small, friendly freight forwarding business based in the Sunbury area
. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit team and taking ownership of the full export process.

This is a start-to-finish position where you'll manage all aspects of air export consignments
, including completing customs entries
. You'll play a key role in ensuring shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.

• Handle air export shipments from initial booking to final delivery
• Complete customs entries accurately and within deadlines
• Prepare and process export documentation, including AWBs, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
• Book shipments with airlines and coordinate collections and deliveries
• Liaise with customers, airlines, and third-party service providers
• Monitor and update customers on shipment status
  
  Ensure all work is compliant with export legislation and company procedures
• Assist colleagues with general operational support as needed

• Experience in air export freight forwarding
• Proven ability to complete customs entries (knowledge of CDS/CHIEF is desirable)
• Strong understanding of export documentation and processes
• Confident using freight systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, hands‑on team player

• Competitive salary between £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
• Standard working hours of 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
