Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Technician, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Assembler
Pro-Active Engineering is seeking Solder Technicians at all levels from entry level Solder Technicians, to Advanced Solder Technicians, to Rework Technicians. These positions will be soldering surface mount and thru‑hole electronic components onto printed circuit boards per IPC‑A‑610 class 2 and class 3 standards. Don't have an IPC‑A‑610 certificate? We can train!
Essential Functions- Populate printed circuit boards with thru‑hole or secondary operation components.
- Solder thru‑hole components per IPC‑A‑610, class 2 and/or class 3 standards.
- In‑process inspection of thru‑hole components.
- Depanelize printed circuit boards.
- Trimming, clipping, tinning of wires and leads.
- Properly label or mark circuit boards.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
- Ability to perform basic thru‑hole component soldering on printed circuit boards to IPC standards.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
