This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week with 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that one shift may be canceled per week for low census.

Job Description

The role requires floating between different campuses as needed, with primacy at one specified location. Candidates must be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments. There will be no requests for time off (RTO) during the first week of assignment, and RTO cannot exceed 7 days total.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU/CVICU setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient condition.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent ICU/CVICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Active licensure to practice nursing without any hits on record.
• Life support certifications must be current and from recognized organizations (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• Flu vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
