Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Sun City, Arizona. This position offers 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care, while demonstrating flexibility to float between two campuses as needed.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
- Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Float between two campuses as required
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state license)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to floating between campuses
- Must reside 50+ miles from Sun City, AZ to qualify for travel package
