The Heart Center at Banner Boswell has been nationally recognized for its care and expertise in cardiovascular preventive care, diagnostic services, medical and surgical treatment and rehabilitation. Our clinical neurosciences program specializes in comprehensive diagnostics, therapeutic interventions and neurosurgical treatment services for patients.

Banner Boswell is a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center. We are one of three facilities in the Valley to offer deep brain stimulation, a surgical option for some patients with Parkinson’s disease or essential tremor.

Boswell’s respiratory therapy team has 62 RRTs, where staff and leadership are supportive of one another. Within the department, there are opportunities for growth as a respiratory therapist, including cross training and internal promotion opportunities.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to be a part of dedicated, close knit team. We are currently looking for a Full-Time RRTs to join our night shift team! Full-Time is 36 hours/week, working 3 12’s, from 6 pm to 6:30 am. Enjoy an 18% night shift differential and $3 an hour weekend differential. POSITION SUMMARY  This position independently provides respiratory care, pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing to patients in a variety of health care settings.
CORE FUNCTIONS  
1. Performs all basic modalities of respiratory care as prescribed by physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
2. Applies and manages mechanical ventilators in collaboration with physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, recommending adjustments to improve clinical condition, patient comfort and to expedite the weaning process.
3. Assembles, disassembles, operates, maintains, troubleshoots, cleans and performs adjustments in the applications of durable medical equipment and circuitry used in the delivery of respiratory care as prescribed in accordance with established department/hospital policies and procedures.
