Medicare Agent Needed – Educate & Serve Seniors | Presentations + Client Meetings
Location: Sun City West, AZ
$20–$25 per hour (depending on experience) + 20% commission on all sales
$2,500 Licensing Completion Bonus
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated, personable Medicare Insurance Agent to join our growing practice. This is a client-facing, in-person role working directly with seniors to help them understand and enroll in Medicare plans that best fit their needs.
This position offers the option to work part-time through August 31, with full-time availability required beginning September 1 to prepare for and support the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.
Schedule- Hours:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (outside of busy season) - Monday–Friday (outside of busy season)
- Full-time required starting 9/1
Our busiest time of year is October 1 through December
7. During this period:
- Average workload is approximately 60–70 hours per week
- Saturday work is typically required
- The environment is fast-paced and high-volume
- Strong organization, stamina, and professionalism are essential
This position requires specific licensing and Medicare certifications before official hire and hourly pay begin.
Prior to being hired and paid hourly, candidates must complete:
- An active Arizona Life & Health Insurance License
- AHIP certification
- At least 4 Medicare Advantage insurance carrier certifications
Based on the amount of time a candidate can dedicate, this process typically takes 1–2 months.
Licensing Completion Bonus:A $2,500 bonus will be paid once all licensing and certification requirements are fully completed, to compensate for the time invested during this phase.
After all requirements are met- Candidate will be officially hired
- Compensation will transition to $20–$25/hour + 20% commission
We provide guidance throughout the licensing and certification process and cover approved exam preparation and testing fees (one time).
Key Responsibilities- Meet with Medicare-eligible clients in person
- Educate seniors on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D options
- Assist clients through the enrollment process accurately and compliantly
- Deliver presentations to individuals and groups explaining Medicare basics and timelines
- Build trust-based, long-term client relationships
- Navigate insurance carrier portals and internal systems
- Maintain compliance with Medicare and carrier regulations
- Perform effectively under time-sensitive, high-demand conditions
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and confidently explain it to clients
- Comfortable with presentations and public speaking
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Enjoys working with seniors and educating others
- Personable, confident, and professional demeanor
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
- Comfortable using technology and web-based platforms
- Able to work extended hours and Saturdays during busy season
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Active Life & Health insurance license
- Medicare sales or advisory experience
- Experience leading group presentations or educational workshops
- Background in sales, consulting, or client services
- $2,500 licensing completion bonus
