This position serves the growing West Valley on the campus of Banner Del

E. Webb Medical Center.

Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the qualified candidate will provide inpatient care helping patients and their families deal with serious life-threatening illness and symptom management.

Responsibilities include providing inpatient palliative care services as part of an interdisciplinary team, and supporting symptom management and family counseling to improve quality of life for patients with serious illness.

• BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Fellowship training strongly preferred, open to finishing fellows
• Monday through Friday work schedule
• Desire and ability to help grow Palliative Care within the community
• Able to build collaborative relationships and provide education to colleagues and patients
• Comfortable working independently in a new start-up program

(BDWMC) – Sun City West, a 404-bed full-service hospital with over 600 physicians on staff, excels in providing acute medical and surgical services as well as intensive care, emergency and urgent care, inpatient /outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, urology, pulmonary, obstetrics and gynecology, extended care, outpatient diagnostic services, acute and outpatient rehabilitation and adult behavioral services.
