Inpatient Psychiatrist - Adult and Geriatric

Banner Health is seeking an Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our established team at Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ. Our collaborative and collegial team includes four full-time Psychiatrists dedicated to inpatient psychiatric care. It is comprised of Adult & Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatry including Dementia care. The psychiatrists’ team regularly consults on medical floors for Adult & Geriatric patients.

Qualifications:

• ABMS/ABPN board certified or board eligible
• Experience or willingness to see geriatric patients
• Geriatric Psychiatry subspecialty certification and ECT certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a highly integrated multi-specialty medical environment and innovative setting with a focus on patient excellence

Position Specifics:

• Location: Banner Del Webb Medical Center (BDWMC), a full-service hospital with 404 beds, over 600 physicians on staff, and a 48-bed adult and geriatric psychiatric unit. The hospital is starting an internal medicine residency in June of 2025 and has opportunities to teach and work with the University of Arizona Geropsychiatry fellows, students and internal medicine residents.
• Facilities: The hospital excels in providing acute medical and surgical services, intensive care, and emergency care, and recently expanded with a 175,000-square-foot, six-story tower.
