Sylvamo’s Sumter, SC Sheet Converting Plant has an opening for a Transportation Coordinator. We are looking for dependable women and men with excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills to fill our challenging positions. Transportation CoordinatorKey Responsibilities:
- Inventory monitoring for Imaging business
- Interfacing with Supply planners and Plant resources on Sheeter scheduling, Finished Goods flow to customers and to off‑site warehouses via truck, rail, and containers
- Monitoring and updating trailer pool, railcar, and yard report information
- Contract Coordinator for 3rd‑party rail supplier (CSX)
- Preplanning for Sheet Plant outages to balance plant resources as it relates to offsite transportation of Finished Goods
- Monitoring and interfacing with key business resources in Memphis on projects
- Manage Edge Cycle Counts throughout the year.
- Conduct collaboration with Eastover Mill for outages, which are done twice a year.
- Monitor PPR Cycle Counting — Conducted daily.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑up skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be a team player.
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior knowledge of SAP and Omega PPR
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point
- Previous logistics experience to include inventory management and resource scheduling
Salary — Shift Team Leader Grade of $36.26/hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience
