Job Description:

We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Becton, Dickinson, and Company. If you have experience with electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, and a passion for manufacturing, we want to hear from you! As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be responsible for setting up and maintaining all equipment used in our production processes. This role requires a hard-working, detail-oriented individual who can ensure smooth operations and contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as per the PM Program or as required.

Assist Engineering with installation, debugging, and start-up of production equipment.

Maintain equipment logs, documenting downtime and maintenance problems, and document all process changes.

Support Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements (QSR).

Work with the Engineering Group to monitor and improve processes for output and waste levels.

Provide leadership in troubleshooting production equipment and addressing process performance issues.

Coordinate and support other maintenance activities as required.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Vocational/Technical School Or Associates Degree with a Major in Industrial Electronics or similar field (strongly preferred).

Demonstrated knowledge of Electricity and Circuitry.

Ability to demonstrate basic hydraulic components on hydraulic print.

Basic PLC understanding.

Experience troubleshooting electrical mechanical systems required (strongly preferred).

Relevant Fields: Electrical / Electronics Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Programmer, Electrician.
