Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally to support production goals.
Duties- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Manage the maintenance management system for tracking work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and inventory control.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee HVAC systems, electrical systems (both high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for troubleshooting and optimizing equipment performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and modifications on various machinery.
- Lead projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, or other enhancements as needed.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proven management skills with experience in supervising maintenance personnel.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and facilities management principles.
- Experience with project management methodologies to oversee maintenance projects effectively.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Competence in using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Strong leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and accountability within the maintenance department.
