Facilities Maintenan Asst

Overview

Summary:

Assists Facilities Manager in maintenance of the overall credit union facilities which includes building renovations, equipment needs and maintenance, grounds/building maintenance, and overall efficient use of facilities.

Includes the following:

• Assists as needed for all facility, construction and associated maintenance and renovations to include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, telephone, lighting, drive-up systems, sound/music, power generation and back-up, structural, roof, paint, elevator, appliances, including the purchase of new or replacement equipment.
• Performs basic repair and maintenance tasks to include plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and other basic facility/equipment repair.
• Assists with regularly scheduled branch/ATM/PTM/facility surveys for the purposes of assessment, repair and/or budget requests.
• Maintains functionality of branch, ATM/PTM and other credit union facilities by ensuring overall appearance. Coordinates with Facilities Manager to ensure needed maintenance of buildings, grounds, ATM/PTMs, exterior signage and office equipment is completed in a timely manner.
• Required to drive to all SAFE FCU locations/facilities in order to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed herein.
• Responsible for maintenance and overall upkeep of credit union vehicles.
• May assist within other Operations type functions as needed; including Supply, Safety/Security, and Vendor Management.
• Performs courier services as determined by business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; plus one year general maintenance experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
