Associate Attorney

Overview

We are a growing general practice litigation firm looking for a junior to mid level Litigation Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real responsibility, early client exposure, and the opportunity to help shape cases from strategy through resolution. You'll work closely with partners in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where good ideas and initiative are valued.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and help develop litigation strategy
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and reviewing document productions
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
• Track deadlines and manage cases efficiently across multiple matters
• Take ownership of assignments while receiving mentorship and feedback

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in South Carolina (or eligible for admission)
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Comfort working independently, with support when needed
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines
• A team-oriented mindset and interest in growing with a boutique practice

• Litigation Experience
• Deposition, court appearance, or client-facing experience
• Familiarity with e-discovery tools and modern litigation tech
