Essential Functions

• Demonstrates competency in performing ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enterocolitis, sialography, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy tube placements or injections, T-tube cholangiograms, trauma/trauma bay procedures, neonatal ICU procedures, pacing lab procedures, and other critical care procedures. Troubleshoots equipment and obtains nursing assessments when necessary. Ensures image quality and proper documentation in PACS or EPIC. Responds appropriately to emergency codes.
  
  Keeps abreast of organizational updates.
• Promotes patient safety and care quality within the department. Manages patient flow, equipment, and supplies. Communicates delays to patients and families. Ensures proper billing and documentation post-procedure.
• Achieves patient satisfaction scores as per organizational standards. Adheres to Prisma Health's behavior standards for patient experience.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of an accredited radiology certification program.
• No prior experience required.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

• ARRT Registration
• SCRQSA - Radiography
• CPR Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Customer service skills
• Teamwork skills
• Knowledge of office equipment (fax, copier)
• Proficient in computer skills (word processing, data entry)
• Experience with PACS and EMR systems
