Process Engineer

We're currently partnering with a leading Med Tech organisation on a Process Engineer position for their manufacturing facility in Sumter, South Carolina.

• Responsible for the design and implementation of machine improvements and capital equipment project management activities.
• Proficient in mechanical design and troubleshooting.
• Guides staff in troubleshooting and upkeep of mechanisms driven by cams, along with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment employed in the production process.
• Supports the plant manufacturing effort, with proven ability to identify problems and pursue plans toward their resolution.
• Clear understanding of the role of Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Has knowledge of accurate Engineering practices and vendor relationships.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial) or a related technical field
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
