Applicants must possess a High School Diploma (Required). Associate's Degree or 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university (Preferred). A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a public school setting is highly desired.

Principal

185 days

Hourly: $11.66 - $18.65 ($16,178 - $25,876 annually)

Be capable of physically assisting students with special needs as required (i.e., positioning, lifting, transferring, changing needs.)

• Under the direction of the classroom teacher, help maintain and oversee a positive learning environment.
• Assist the teacher in implementing appropriate daily learning experiences that align with approved practices for the grade level and/or class composition and with the instructional mission of the school and district.
• Collaborate with the teacher as appropriate to help ensure that informed decisions are made regarding curricular planning, classroom environment issues, and instructional practices.
• Assist the teacher in providing any unique and/or special accommodations required for students.
• Help the teacher promote a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment.
• Work with individual students or small groups of students on behavior or academic issues.
• Work with others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
