Job Summary:

Pressco Products is a manufacturing and machining company that produces quality machined parts, stamping, fabrication, and assembly of components for the aerospace and defense industries. With its rich 60-year history and new long-term contracts, Pressco is looking for a few key individuals who want to be a part of its continued growth and stability. This job will focus on leading the CNC Lathe department and machining quality parts.

Job Duties and Essential Functions:

• Set up and run 2-axis and multi-axis CNC Lathes with sub-spindle
• Oversee and manage the production team of 1-3 employees over two shifts and the day-to-day production schedule for their department
• Assist and monitor the department for efficiency, quality, and accuracy
• Ensure all machines are running and producing quality parts
• Organize and plan proper fixturing and tooling for the work order
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools, answer questions, and suggest improvements
• Maintain great communication with programming, tooling, production scheduler, and general manager
• Keep a clean and safe work environment
• Basic CNC Lathe Programming (Master
  
  CAM)
• Updating Set-Up sheets
• Oversee labor tickets, time cards (attendance), and paperwork/work orders are accurately submitted

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Machine Shop Lead experience
• 5+ years CNC Lathe machining experience
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking
• Good work ethic and positive attitude, team player, leads by example
• Excellent attendance and time management
• Standing and sitting for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening. Must be fluent in English.
• US Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED

Compensation is dependent on experience and is evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. Wage range $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. Upon completion of the probationary period, benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k), and voluntary supplemental insurance options.
