The Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Drop Ship Operations Specialist to manage and optimize our drop shipping operations. This role is critical to ensuring seamless order fulfillment, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through efficient coordination between our sales channels and third-party suppliers.
The Opportunity
Order Management & Coordination- Monitor order status from placement through delivery, proactively addressing any delays or issues
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate shipping information
- Manage order exceptions, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with drop ship vendors and partners
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery rates, fulfillment rates, and accuracy.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address issues through corrective action plans
- Onboard new suppliers and ensure they meet operational standards and requirements
- Maintain accurate product availability data across all drop ship suppliers
- Coordinate with suppliers to update inventory levels, pricing, and product specifications
- Flag discontinued items and work with merchandising teams on replacements
- Ensure product information accuracy across all sales channels
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve drop ship-related inquiries and issues
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, and quality complaints
- Maintain communication standards that ensure positive customer outcomes
- Identify opportunities to streamline drop ship processes and improve operational efficiency
- Generate regular reports on key metrics including order volume, fulfillment rates, and supplier performance
- Analyze data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement
- Document standard operating procedures and best practices
Requirements
The Must Haves- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, supply chain, or logistics
- Strong understanding of drop shipping models and fulfillment processes
- Proficiency with order management systems, ERPs, or e-commerce platforms
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

- This position may be performed remotely. The role requires regular computer use and communication via phone, email, and video conferencing.
