Location: Summit, New Jersey
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Schedule:
3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week
Pay Package
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2,721
- Weekly Stipend (Meals & Lodging): $1,533
- W2 Hourly Rate: $33/hr
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all stages of growth and development from pediatric to geriatric populations.
- Deliver direct patient care in the operating room while adhering to established clinical standards.
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures as required.
- Monitor patient condition throughout the perioperative process and respond appropriately to any changes.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation including assessments, nursing interventions, and patient progress.
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical instruments, emergency equipment, and perioperative procedures.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and proper patient identification using two identifiers.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to prioritize care and ensure efficient surgical workflow.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) processes when needed, ensuring required testing and evaluations are completed before surgery.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- CNOR Certification – Preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Must be able to scrub and circulate in the OR
