Legal Matter Management & eBilling Specialist

The Legal Matter Management & eBilling Specialist will support day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Legal Matter (ELM) system and eBilling processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, compliance with guidelines, and smooth workflow of legal financial operations. The ideal candidate brings law‑firm or in‑house legal experience, strong technical capabilities, and expertise with eBilling platforms such as Onit.

• Support the timekeeper review and approval process in Onit
• Support matter budget development and tracking within Onit
• Perform first‑level invoice reviews, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Outside Counsel Guidelines
• Validate required fields and data completeness before approving invoices
• Open new matters and ensure all necessary matter details are captured
• Assist with generation of ad hoc reports

• Associate's degree or equivalent certification
• 5+ years of work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
• 2+ years supporting eBilling and matter management, preferably using Onit
• Proven success operating in a global, matrixed environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Demonstrated decision‑making capability and ability to drive timely actions
• Experience with Corporate Legal technologies including:
• Onit
• Power BI and/or Tableau
• Power Automate
• Share Point
• Teams
• CoPilot, Writer
• Track record of performance aligned with Client values and behaviors
