We are looking for candidates with an eye for hair designs, including traditional designs, for the aging population. This position involves working in our Long Term Care Facility with our senior residents.

• Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
• Listening to client needs to determine their preferences.
• Describing different hair care products and hair designs.
• Shampooing, cutting, coloring, highlighting, perming and teasing hair.
• Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits.
• Adhering to salon safety and cleanliness standards.
• Managing bookings and welcoming clients into the store.

• Practice all sanitation and disinfection protocols.
• Screened once daily and required to stay in the salon to avoid community spread.
• Masks required. Routine testing will apply.
• Cannot work in other outside salons due to pandemic restrictions.

• Current New Jersey State Cosmetology license.
• 5 years of working experience with roller sets/teasing.
• Ability to maneuver wheelchair.
• Clientele ready “Busy Salon” with great residents.
• No chair rental.
• Must be a team player.
• Compassionate and friendly disposition essential.
• Experience:
  
  Stylist 5 years (Preferred).
• Education:
  
  High school or equivalent (Required).
