EPG Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, reconditioning, overhauling, and maintaining customer and company engines, power generation equipment, and components.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of engine and electrical systems, interpreting technical drawings, diagnosing failures, ordering parts, repairing equipment, testing systems, preparing reports, maintaining professional appearance, and working flexible hours as needed.

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Preference for candidates with 5 years electrical power generation/electronics experience, including 3 years on CAT engines or similar
• Familiarity with CAT diagnostics software (SIS) or similar systems
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, able to work independently in the field

Working conditions involve outdoor work in various weather conditions, physical activity, and use of protective equipment.
