Reach Truck Operator

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to support daily operations in our fast-paced warehouse. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and organize products throughout the facility. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. Individuals may be responsible for one or all the below functions:

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials and products.
• Perform order picking using RF scanners and ensure accurate shipping and receiving processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Assist in materials handling, including heavy lifting and moving items within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and improve operational processes.
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Experience using heavy machinery
• Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets and customer requests
• Ability to enter data into computer
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Constantly seek ways to improve processes
• Shipping experience a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to warehouse conditions prevalent at the time in terms of temperature/weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
