Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Starbucks) – T1493.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks and engage with guests to help solve their needs.
• Assist guests and thank them for shopping at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to support business priorities including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and posting promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment when certified and follow processes for price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders, or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and regulations.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
