Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Salary: $10.00 to $13.00 per hour. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.76 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and strives to resolve customer inquiries and issues.
Associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales AssociateThis is a representative list of general duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
- Collaborates with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Physically capable of duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc.) per applicable laws.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
