Bartender – O'Charley's (Summerville, SC)

• Be an effective salesperson; understand the food and beverage menus, specials, and promos, and make recommendations based on knowledge of items.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a great experience by performing accommodating actions and practicing the “Hospitality Halo”.
• Work as a team with all O’Charley’s team members and communicate clearly and enthusiastically with guests and staff.
• Immediately greet guests and ensure prompt and efficient service according to the guests’ pace.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of service sequences, bar accounting procedures, drink‑making techniques, and recipes.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked, and maintain personal appearance and the appearance of your workspace.
• Present “Perfect Drinks” before delivery.

• Guest relations, liquor knowledge, menu knowledge
• Service sequences, alcohol awareness, point‑of‑sale operation
• Quality service and standards, recipes and garnishes, money handling
• Floor plan, specials, side‑work duties

Able to serve alcohol according to state law; speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location; perform simple mathematical calculations for money handling; stand and maintain mobility for up to five (5) hours; lift up to 25 pounds; bend, kneel, and balance as needed.
