Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital and play a vital role in preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of food items to support patient meals and hospital operations.

• Under general supervision, prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with recipes, menus, and production sheets.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and adhere to HACCP/food safety guidelines and policies.
• Use proper equipment to produce standard recipes efficiently.
• Communicate with other production staff regarding menus, recipes, and portion sizes.
• Participate in training to advance skills and uphold HCA’s vision, mission, and values.

• High School Graduate or equivalent; preferred higher education.
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in quantity cooking (preferred).
• Ability to work accurately and consistently under general supervision.
