Job Description Summary MUSC Children’s Health After Hours Care Nexton is a pediatric outpatient clinic that falls under the Shawn Jenkin’s Children’s Hospital ing the day, we host a variety of pediatric subspecialists such as pediatric pulmonary, GI, endocrinology, ENT, and cardiology. In addition, we provide a walk-in After Hours Care, which is a direct extension of our pediatric emergency department to serve our community during the hours when most pediatricians are closed.

Job Description This is a fulltime LPN position that will work 3-8 hour shifts per week including every other weekend in after hours.
Hours Of Operation
- Day Clinic Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- After hours Monday - Friday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Weekends & Holidays: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Responsibilities Responsible for quality patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed healthcare provider in a clinical practice. Duties to include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, giving injections and assisting with minor procedures.
LPN Minimum Training and Education Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. One year of LPN experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
