Assembler B technicians perform hands‑on mechanical work on aircraft, including assembly, installation, adjustments, troubleshooting, and basic repairs across electrical, structural, or interior systems. They follow written installation instructions, use hand and power tools, measure components with precision tools, and correct discrepancies directly on aircraft. Technicians rotate between shifts, respond to on‑aircraft issues, and support ongoing production needs in a fast‑paced environment with steady long‑term workflow.
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly and/or troubleshooting experience
- Aerospace experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience in electrical, structural, or interior work encouraged
Assembler C technicians lead advanced repair and assembly tasks, diagnose complex aircraft issues, and perform high‑precision mechanical, structural, and electrical work. Responsibilities include reading engineering documents, restoring damaged components, performing high‑accuracy installations, and resolving major discrepancies. Senior technicians handle the most complex tasks on the production floor and ensure all work meets safety and quality requirements.
- 7+ years of direct aircraft experience
- Extensive background in repair, assembly, mechanical work, and troubleshooting
- Skilled in removing, restoring, and reinstalling aircraft parts
$23/hr to $33/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
