Overview
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Summerville SC location.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Manager, you will play a key role in CW-SAS supporting customer deliverables. Responsible for the performance of mid-sized projects or a definite portion of a larger program. You will develop and control schedule and budget on assigned projects, as well as being designated as the point of contact for customer communications, meetings and questions. This position requires interaction with engineering, manufacturing, project management office, planning, quality assurance, contacts and finance to address all project actions.

- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
- 3 - 7 years of experience in similar project management role
- Must possess comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts, practices and procedures, and schedule management tools (i.e. MS Project or equivalent)
- PMP certification is an asset
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Ability to break down complex inputs from senior leaders and experts into actionable plans/courses of action
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems and Risk Management
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for a high complexity/low mix product line
- Possess negotiation skills and commercial experience for management of contract scope changes directly with client
- In-depth knowledge of process analysis, standardization, continuous improvement, lean, six sigma and operational excellence program
- Prior experience with Defense contracts is an asset
- Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
Salary: $99,000 – $143,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in SC. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.
Travel5% - 15% per year dependent upon projects assigned
