Cad Designer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed submittal drawings based on architectural details and millwork specifications, planning construction methods, and ensuring all project needs are met efficiently.

• Create submittal drawings from architectural details and provided job scope and millwork specifications package.
• Plan construction methods and techniques for each item to be produced.
• Provide a complete bill of materials required for procurement for each project.
• Perform CNC programming of all parts for both standard and custom products.
• Communicate with contractors and designers to ensure all desired needs and functions are met.
• Manage billable hours to meet budgets.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing).
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Microvellum.

The role is based in a woodworking shop, which requires familiarity with relevant tools and machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
