Kid Strong Summerville is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Childrens Coach who is passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids, making a positive impact on their lives.

• We’re seeking a coach with athletic or coaching experience, ideally with kids aged 12 months to 11 years
• Coaching focuses on brain, physical, and character development aligned with the evolving monthly curriculum
• Ability to communicate the "why" behind the Kid Strong curriculum to parents/guardians
• Class times typically weekdays 9 am–11 am and evenings until 7 pm, weekends 8 am–noon
• Flexible schedule based on studio needs; additional hours through private party coaching
• Prior pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required

• Coach classes of 6 to 15 children, ages 12 months to 11 years
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum provided by HQ
• Ensure classes start and end on time and follow the curriculum pace
• Greet students and parents/guardians at the start of class
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, professional demeanor
• Demonstrate and manage exercise implementations
• Maintain center cleanliness (lobby, bathrooms, floors) including trash, sweeping/mopping, equipment wiping, and sanitizing mats
• Record class data in the KS Coach’s App and provide attendance/awards data to parents
• Communicate professionally with coworkers via Slack and respond to messages
• Complete training through Fran Connect as required by HQ
• Be able to work in a physically intensive environment (multi-mile movement, lifting up to 25 pounds)
• Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety
• Assist parents of younger students with class flow
• Attend monthly staff meetings for curriculum training and any additional required meetings
• Learn and manage Coach Kid Strong Academy – special classes during school breaks
• Obtain certified status from HQ Training and Certification

• Passion for working with children
• Prior coaching experience with Kid Strong-age children preferred
• Experience speaking with parents about the Kid Strong curriculum
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating communication skills
• Self-starter who gets the job done

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Kid Strong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical, and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. Kid Strong offers a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by professionals.
