What’s it like to be a cook at ourschool?

• Prepares and distributes meals/snacks for children and staff according to guidelines and provided menus.
• Followsdailymenu that incorporates USDA,licensing and/or health department regulations.
• Ensure safe food preparations and proper sanitation methods are used andmaintainsa safe kitchen/pantry area.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies.
• Mustbe willing to work in the classroom to cover breaks.

• Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for large group food service, preferably in a childcare center, preferred.
  
  Serv Safe certification preferred.
• At least 18-years-old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working in licensedchildcarea plus.
• Ability to passbackground checks&health assessments.
• Ability toliftupto
  30 lbs.
