Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our commercial strategy and accelerate our market expansion. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will oversee marketing, business development, sales channels, key account management and sales operations. This executive role is pivotal in building our employer brand, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning Hounen Solar America as a premier supplier in the solar industry.

The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, a proven track record in driving revenue growth, and exceptional leadership skills to propel our organization forward during this exciting phase of expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing and Brand Building
    :
    Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance our employer brand and establish Hounen Solar America as a first-tier solar module supplier in the US market. This includes overseeing digital marketing, content creation, industry events, and public relations initiatives to increase visibility and attract top talent and partners.
  • Business Development
    :
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive growth. Lead efforts to expand our presence in the renewable energy sector, leveraging our upcoming capacity expansion to secure long-term contracts and collaborations.
  • Key Account Management
    :
    Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Develop tailored strategies for major clients, negotiate high-value deals, and resolve complex issues to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    :
    Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Provide mentorship, set performance goals, and align team efforts with company objectives.
  • Strategic Planning and Analytics
    :
    Collaborate with executive leadership to shape commercial strategies aligned with our growth targets. Utilize market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance metrics to inform decision-making and achieve revenue goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with operations, finance, R&D, and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of commercial activities with overall business operations, supporting our capacity expansion and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education
    :
    Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience
    :
    Minimum of 5 years in senior commercial or sales leadership roles within the solar, renewable energy. Proven experience in scaling operations during periods of rapid growth, with a track record of tripling or more in revenue or market share.
  • Industry Expertise
    :
    Deep knowledge of the US solar market, including regulatory landscapes, supply chain dynamics, and emerging trends in renewable energy.
  • Customer Relationship and Key Account Management
    :
    Exceptional skills in building and maintaining high-level customer relationships. Demonstrated success in key account management, with a history of securing and growing multimillion-dollar accounts.
  • Leadership and Strategic Acumen
    :
    Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams. Adept at strategic planning, market analysis, and executing initiatives that drive competitive advantage.
  • Skills
    :
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, data analytics tools, and marketing platforms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
