Responsibilities

Bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers for shipment or delivery.

Obtain articles for customers from shelves or stockrooms.

Direct customers to the location of sought articles.

Unpack received products, count, weigh, or sort items.

Maintain computerized stock inventory and record incoming stock.

Order stock, stock shelves, and display areas, keep stock clean and organized.

Price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.

Attach protective devices to products to prevent shoplifting.

Fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock.

Perform general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping floors).

Operate computer for electronic commerce transactions and cash register.

Operate electric pallet jack and assist in order picking.

Provide customer service.

Qualifications

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Employer will provide training.
