Position: Seasonal Opportunities PE

Positions

  • Seasonal Crop Scout - from June until the end of September
  • Seasonal Spreader Coordinator - 8-10 weeks, starting mid April
  • Seasonal Truck Driver, Class 3A - 8-10 weeks, starting mid April
  • Seasonal Plant Worker (Mixer Operator) - 8-10 weeks, starting mid April
Qualifications

General Requirements (May Vary by Role)

  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends during peak season.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs (for operational roles).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Valid driver’s licence of Class 3A for the truck driver role.
  • Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or transportation is considered an asset.
Responsibilities Seasonal Class 3A Truck Driver

In this role, you will operate Class 3A company trucks to deliver fertilizer and crop inputs to local farms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering bulk fertilizer to farms and refilling field spreaders during application.
  • Performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Completing required paperwork and providing professional customer service.
  • Supporting additional yard and plant duties as needed.
Seasonal Crop Scout
  • Field Inspections: Regularly walk fields to identify, count, and map pest populations, disease pressures, and weed infestations.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Record detailed field observations, including crop growth stages, using GPS or digital apps to track trends over time.
  • Soil/Tissue Sampling: Collect soil and plant tissue samples for lab analysis to determine nutrient levels or disease presence.
Seasonal Spreader Coordinator

This customer‑facing role provides support to branch operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with the growers on their crop needs.
  • Scheduling the spreaders.
  • Building relations with the customers.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Management.
