Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Driver in Sulphur, LA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. This Part-Time Security Officer role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to explore new roles via the Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, support a secure environment, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, or security-related breaches within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a professional manner to address questions, provide information, and report issues as needed.
- Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to support security-related operations and emergency response efforts.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
