** What You'll Do:*
* + Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the premises.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with security-related inquiries and procedures.

+ Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and emergency response.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and/or drills as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Applicants must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.

+

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
