OverviewQualified candidates will hold an active Louisiana State SLPA licensure by the start date. While experience in school or pediatric settings is advantageous, it is not mandatory. This role provides manageable caseloads within a highly supportive special education department, fostering professional growth and effective student support.
Key Qualifications- Active Louisiana State SLPA licensure by the position start date
- Experience in school and/or pediatric settings preferred but not required
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently within a school framework
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with special education staff to support student needs
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies
