We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 8–10 years of progressive design experience and a current Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Louisiana
. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in piping system design and analysis, including advanced proficiency with CAESAR II for pipe stress analysis. Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is strongly preferred.
This role involves leading engineering design efforts, performing detailed mechanical and piping analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior engineers. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, code-compliant engineering solutions across industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead mechanical and piping system design for industrial projects.
- Perform pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II.
- Ability to conduct or oversee Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for complex components is preferred.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, specifications, datasheets, and construction drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
- Interface with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Review and seal engineering documents as a licensed PE in Louisiana.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Support field troubleshooting, inspections, and construction activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana
- Minimum 8–10 years of mechanical design experience in industrial environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, power, manufacturing, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in CAESAR II and PV Elite or COMPRESS.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and industry standards (ASME B31.1/B31.3 preferred).
- Experience performing detailed engineering calculations and system evaluations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
