CHRISTUS Health is seeking a board certified and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. This role serves new and existing CHRISTUS patients and CHRISTUS associates delivering high‑quality, convenient, compassionate care in a virtual setting. You’ll work within a physician‑led care team using a queue‑based system and Epic EMR. This position is PRN with a minimum expectation per month.

Close proximity to Irving, TX required for this position. There will be intermittent PTO coverage at our Employee Clinic at the system office in Irving.

• Diagnosing and treating patients via telehealth visits, including triage, video visit appointments, and follow‑ups as appropriate
• Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting
• Work within a queue‑based system, typically seeing 3–4 patients per hour
• Work autonomously and collaborate with both virtual and in‑office teammates via daily huddles and monthly team meetings
• Deliver care in alignment with CHRISTUS Health protocols and standards
• Open 365 days a year, 7am–11pm; various shifts available
• Other duties as assigned

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Texas and Louisiana (or be eligible to be licensed in Louisiana).
• Must reside in DFW metroplex
• Completion of an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
• Nurse Practitioners: FNP certification with 5+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred (family medicine considered)
• Physician Assistants: 5+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred (family medicine considered)
• EPIC experience preferred; training provided
• Strong communication skills; flexible, personable, and self‑motivated
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
