Automotive Technician - Ford, Chrysler or GM

Overview

Seeking a reliable Ford, Chrysler and/or GM Automotive Technician to join our team to maintain and repair vehicles, ensuring maximum reliability and functionality. Candidates must excel in troubleshooting and possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, coupled with effective communication skills to advise customers.

• Diagnose vehicle issues accurately by inspecting engine, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing fluids, lubricating parts) to enhance vehicle longevity.
• Schedule future maintenance sessions and offer guidance on optimal vehicle usage.
• Replace dysfunctional parts, fix leaks, and provide precise repair estimates (costs, time, effort).
• Maintain detailed logs of work and issues, while keeping equipment and tools in optimal condition.

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
• Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic systems and tools.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Commitment to adhering to safety precautions.
• Excellent physical condition.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Certification (e.g., ASE) is advantageous.
