• Developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript-based frameworks, particularly Angular (including Angular Material UI).
• While primarily a front-end role, some experience with server-side frameworks, particularly Java and JSP, is preferred as you'll occasionally overlap and back up our Senior Java Developer.
• Designing applications and refactoring code for optimal design, performance, modularization, and to eliminate redundancies.
• Commitment to code security and integrity, utilizing tools like Git Hub code scanning and CodeQL to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

• Education Requirements:
  
  A bachelor’s degree is required
• Level of Experience Requirements: 5 years of experience in Front-End Web Development
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Strong experience developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript-based frameworks, particularly Angular (including Angular Material UI). Familiarity with other frameworks, such as React and Vue, is a plus.
• Experience with Docker (or similar) for local development, testing, and deployment to various application environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining applications in cloud environments, whether on Virtual Machines (VMs) or in containerized clusters.
• Experience with Dev Ops best practices, including:
• Writing and maintaining code using Git Hub, including familiarity with branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow), release management, rebasing, and maintaining clean commit history.
• Working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Git Hub Actions) to create and maintain automated build and deployment processes
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and microservices, especially working with RESTful API services. You'll architect applications and refactor code for optimal design, performance, modularization, and to eliminate redundancies.
• Familiarity with Node.js applications and managing packages using npm.
• Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company.
• Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software.
• Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally.
• Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information.
• Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
