Responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience in a retail pharmacy environment. Handles customer transactions, merchandising, and store operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and local regulations.

$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products, resolving issues, and answering questions.
• Share customer‑service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Recommend items for sale, trade‑up, or companion items to enhance sales.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement asset‑protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with separation of food items and stock rotation using FIFO.
• Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport, poster print, and other photo‑related services.
• Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, deliver to customers).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Attends training sessions and completes PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
