Position Summary

In an office setting, the Market Survey Researcher will conduct investigative market research via outbound calls. They will gather and verify information, and complete data quality control activities. This opportunity offers great base pay plus incentives. Individuals who have had any experience in sales, collections, investigations, or an industrial sector (and are interested in an office job) are encouraged to apply.

Essential

Functions
  • Conduct surveys and collect data with emphasis on validating existing company data, using methods such as phone interviews, questionnaires, market analysis surveys, internet search techniques and review of industry publications.
  • Review, classify, and record survey data in preparation for computer analysis and client usage.
  • Perform data entry into database and other clerical work as required for task completion.
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of data; correct any errors.
  • Collaborate with other researchers in the work division, implementation, and completion of survey research.
  • May compose short reports or news briefs summarizing completed research.

Skills & Abilities
  • Education:

    High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience:

    One to two years related experience
  • Computer

    Skills:

    One or more years of experience with technology including computer systems; ability to quickly learn new software; prior work in database entry is preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
    One or more years of experience using the phone as a business tool, preferably outbound calls.

    Vision (Near) & Sense of Sound (Conduct Phone Interviews)

    General office environment with favorable lighting and temperature, no hazardous or unpleasant conditions.
