Bright Star Care has a private duty nursing opportunity (RN or LVN) for a client in Sugar Land, TX. Looking for a nurse to commit to every other weekend from 6a - 10a on Sat & Sun, with other shift potentials and visits available throughout the week if interested. • Perform care as defined by patient’s individual plan of care within scope of state nurse practice act
• Monitor patient condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes
• Patient flow sheet charting
• Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
• Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Counsel patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
• Variety of assignments (infusions, injections, wound care, clinical trials & more)

• Current unrestricted RN or LVN license in Texas
• Minimum one (2) year of documented experience
• Tracheotomy experience required
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Clean background and criminal record
• Negative pre‑employment drug screen
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull; must lift up to 50 pounds
