This position requires fluency in both Spanish and English and involves direct patient care in our new facilities aimed at serving the local Spanish-speaking community. This full-time role offers the unique chance to be at the forefront of establishing and shaping the services in our newly developed clinic aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare services.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in the lives of your patients, ensuring they receive the best possible care in their own language, promoting better healthcare outcomes and enhancing the patient-practitioner relationship.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments with attention to both the physical and psychological aspects of care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with patients, focusing on both preventive and responsive strategies.
- Provide follow-up care and guidance to patients, managing both acute and chronic conditions effectively.
- Deliver patient care in Spanish, ensuring clear and comprehensible communication is maintained, which is crucial for effective treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Promote health education among patients and their families custom-tailored to the needs of the Spanish-speaking community.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all patient encounters promptly and following up on the care provided.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care, including specialists and other healthcare facilities.
- Stay updated with the latest in health trends and treatments relevant to internal medicine and primary care, especially those that specifically impact the local community.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the clinic’s health promotion initiatives, ensuring alignment with the clinic’s mission and health delivery strategies.
- Handle carefully any medical emergencies that arise, ensuring timely and efficient response and care.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent, with an active Nurse Practitioner license.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required; must be able to deliver care and communicate effectively in both languages.
- Board certified in family or adult-gerontology primary care preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a primary care environment serving diverse patient populations.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure clear communication with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to continue professional development and maintain current knowledge of healthcare standards and practices relevant to primary care.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an active member of a healthcare team.
