Position: Caregiver Needed: Sugar Land, TX (77479) - Light Care

At Always Best Care, we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well‑being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.

We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Sugar Land, TX (77479). This position involves light care duties and offers a steady, part‑time schedule.

Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Sugar Land, TX 77479)
Shifts Available:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

  • Saturday:
    Potential 4‑hour shift

Responsibilities
  • Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide light daily living assistance
    , such as meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.

  • Monitor and track client health and well‑being, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

  • Assist with errands or transportation as needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

  • Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean environment.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care setting is a plus).

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.

  • Ability to pass a background check and reference check.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients.

  • Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
